My group faced a dilemma as whilst editing our footage Final
Cut Pro stopped working. We encountered the “General Error” and the software
kept stating it was “Out of memory”. The timeline also disappeared which meant
we were unable to continue with the editing. We requested support from Vanessa
and the technician however neither were able to fix the problem. As a result,
we had to start the editing again from scratch as we created a new document.
This was frustrating as we did not only organise each clip but we had conducted
quite a bit of editing.
